We are so thrilled that the one and only, DJ MelBoogie, will be emceeing this year's Black Pearls Gala 🎤🤩

With an illustrious career spanning over three decades, DJ MelBoogie stands as a pioneering force in the Canadian music scene. As one of the most revered female DJs in the country, MelBoogie has not only shattered glass ceilings but has also set the stage for generations of aspiring artists and DJs to follow.

Throughout her career, DJ MelBoogie has shared the stage with some of the biggest names in the industry, including iconic artists trendsetters such as Snoop Dogg, Maestro Fresh Wes, Lauryn Hill, LeBron James, and Kevin Hart, to name just a few. Her electrifying performances and seamless mixes have graced stages across the globe, from private events and intimate clubs to massive festivals, leaving an indelible mark wherever she goes. As the DJ on the JUNO Awards Tribute to 50 Years of Hip Hop, she shared the stage with some of Canada’s greatest icons of Black music, including Kardinal Offishall, the Dream Warriors, Choclair and more. The performance was televised nationwide and viewed by 2.2 million people when it was broadcast on CBC.

As she continues to push boundaries and break barriers, DJ MelBoogie remains a shining example of resilience, talent, and passion.
