We have some VERY good news from the Realm!

With fire restrictions in place during the last few months, we knew that Ember Arts Fire Society’s Ember Arts Fire Society Friday night performances might need to be adapted to an LED show.

We’ve been working through the necessary safety requirements and waiting for the final word. And now we can officially say it: the fire performance has been approved.

🔥THE FIRE IS ON🔥

This is wonderful news for our Friday night guests — and for the performers who have been preparing to bring this spectacular show to the Realm of River’s Edge.

Friday is Opening Night at the Mission Renaissance Faire, and as the sun begins to set over Fraser River Heritage Park, the Realm will come alive.

⚠️ A VERY IMPORTANT TICKET REMINDER
Good travellers, as Saturday tickets have sold out online, we are seeing an increase in people offering Mission Renaissance Faire tickets for resale.

Please be extremely cautious.

The Mission Renaissance Faire does not have an authorized resale page, and we are not affiliated with individuals or groups offering “resale tickets” on Facebook or elsewhere.

We cannot verify whether a privately offered ticket is legitimate, whether it has already been sold to someone else, or whether the person offering it actually has a valid ticket.

We have now heard from someone whose bank flagged a proposed ticket payment as a potential scam. If your bank or payment provider warns you about a transaction, please DO NOT proceed.

For the safety of our Faire community:
• Purchase tickets only through the official Mission Renaissance Faire ticketing link.
• We DO NOT AND WILL NOT have a Mission Renaissance Faire ticket resale” page or group. If you find one that says it’s affiliated with us please report it. It is a scam site.
• Ticket buying, selling or requests to purchase tickets are not permitted on our social media pages and will be removed from comments.
• We cannot verify or guarantee tickets purchased privately.

We know how much people want to join us in the Realm, and unfortunately that excitement can also attract scammers.

Sunday tickets are currently still available through our official ticketing link. There are day-of tickets available for Saturday but entrance is not guaranteed.

Well… that happened quickly! Saturday online tickets for the Mission Renaissance Faire are officially SOLD OUT.

Thank you. Truly. The response to this year’s Faire has been extraordinary, and we cannot wait to welcome you into the Realm of River’s Edge.

A limited number of Saturday tickets will be available for purchase at the gate, subject to capacity. If you do not already have a Saturday ticket, gate admission cannot be guaranteed.

Weekend Passes are also no longer available online.

If your plans are flexible, there is another excellent option:

Sunday online tickets are currently still available. Bur we’d recommend you getting yours now! Sunday is going to be a fabulous day too with a 90 minute concert by Thewhiskeydicks.ca

The Realm is filling quickly, so please watch our feed and Stories for the latest ticket and gate updates.

SATURDAY ONLINE TICKETS ARE NEARLY SOLD OUT

Online sales are expected to close within days-possibly much sooner if current demand continues.

Once the Saturday online allocation is gone, Saturday online sales will close, along with Weekend Pass sales.

A limited number of Saturday tickets will be reserved for purchase at the gate. Gate admission is not guaranteed and subject to capacity.

If you’ve been planning to join us on Saturday, we strongly recommend purchasing your tickets now.

The Realm of River’s Edge is seeking one or more Town Criers for the 2026 Mission Renaissance Faire! We’ve had a cancellation for August 20th and we need your help to find bold and theatrical souls with:

A strong, clear voice
Confidence addressing a crowd
Plenty of personality
A willingness to proclaim important Realm news with entirely appropriate levels of drama

Our Town Criers will help welcome guests, announce performances and bring the Realm to life throughout the Faire.
