A heartfelt message from Nancy.

It’s been a little quiet here in the Realm of River’s Edge.
After an extraordinary Faire, our team is still taking much needed time to rest, recharge and reflect.

We are so incredibly grateful to everyone who helped bring the Faire to life. Our volunteers, entertainers, vendors, partners and, of course, the thousands of you who walked thru those gates and joined us.

This year brought incredible growth and unforgettable moments but we also know that not everything went as we hoped. There are things we need to improve, and we’ve been listening. Your experiences and feedback matter to us as we look ahead.

Behind the Faire is a community of people who gave so much of themselves to create something special. We’re proud of what we accomplished together. There’s much to celebrate, much to learn, and so many people to thank.

For now, from all of us, thank you for being part of the Realm of River’s Edge. 🐦‍⬛🖤🐦‍⬛

Some Faire memories just make us smile.

The magnificent Irish Wolfhounds of the BC Branch of the Irish Wolfhound Club of Canada were part of our village of Sagely and somehow, they looked as though they had always belonged there.

With knights, fae and Faire folk stopping to meet them, these gentle giants created a little bit of magic with each friendly gentle nose nudge and those big brown eyes.

We loved having them in our Realm.

And judging by these photos… you did too.

Huzzah for the hounds.

Thanks Chris Buckley for these great shots.
