I’ve known Mia for several years now and she’s always been very coachable and possesses a high basketball I.Q. She’s poured in countless hours into her craft and she has really extended her range especially beyond the arc. Mia’s vast knowledge and skills from soccer has allowed her to transition her footwork on the court as she is a great finisher, primarily off two feet. She’s a hard-nosed defender and really understands angles, positioning, and the use of physicality. Mia is an efficient player that contributes in all statistical categories of the game. She’s tough as nails and will do whatever it takes to help her team get the W.
This is a very special moment for me as another day one of mine is moving on to play post-secondary hoops! Proud of you Mia as you have always earned every opportunity that you’ve been given. I just wanted to thank you and your amazing family for allowing me to work with you and your sisters as well and you know we ain’t done yet.
