Decimate Metalfest ALL AGES is back at the Millet Agriplex Arena in Millet, AB (40k South of Edmonton), on June 26th and 27th, 2026! 🤘

All ages and all walks of life are always welcome! DECIMATE METALFEST is the brainchild of Sloan Voxx of Voxx Promotions, which is destined to become an annual Canadian metal pilgrimage to Alberta, Canada. With the many yearly festivals becoming part of the nation

al metal heritage, Sloan wants DECIMATE METALFEST to become one of the best-known events alongside the various festivals located within Alberta, and Western Canada. With Voxx Promos booking and promotional experience, and the support of metalheads internationally, there is nothing to stop them from reaching their goal of bringing in the masses and putting on incredible metal festivals for years to come! DECIMATE METALFEST promises to be bigger and better than the executed festival next year and its pending lineup will certainly not disappoint. Festival organizer Sloan Voxx comments:

“We are so excited to be embarking on the adventure of starting our very own Metal Festival! We’ve been very fortunate to have worked with so many incredible people and bands in the past and we value them so much. What better way to spend a weekend than to bring them all together for 3 days of epic music and entertainment! We have a great team on board and we can’t wait to get this fest off the ground with the help of seasoned and up-an-coming metal bands of all kinds! DECIMATE!”

One week from today, the gates open.

In seven short days, strangers will become friends. Families will make memories. Bands will step onto the stage carrying years of sacrifice, passion, and dreams. Volunteers will give their time. Vendors will set up their booths. Campfires will burn late into the night. Stories will be told. Memories will be made.

And then it will be gone.

That's the thing about festivals. They're temporary. They exist for a moment, and then they become stories.

A photo can show you what happened.
A video can give you a glimpse.
But neither can replace the feeling of standing in the crowd when the lights go down. The feeling of hearing your favourite song hit live. The feeling of discovering a band you didn't know would change your life. The feeling of looking around and realizing you're surrounded by people who understand exactly why you're there.

Every year, someone tells us they were going to come but decided to wait until next year.

Next year isn't promised.

The memories, friendships, performances, laughter, tears, and moments that happen at Decimate Metalfest 2026 will only happen once. The people who are there will carry those moments with them forever.

Because Decimate has never been about any one person. It's always been about all of us.

A community built on music, passion, acceptance, and connection. A place where people from different backgrounds, different cities, and different walks of life come together for one unforgettable weekend.

Last night, The Unending left it all on the stage in Edmonton.

Now the Kelowna metal outfit continues their Western Canadian tour and is headed your way.

Blending crushing riffs, an incredible light show, and deeply personal songwriting, The Unending creates an experience that reaches far beyond heavy music. From festival stages across Southern Alberta to Decimate Metalfest 2026, this Calgary trio has built momentum the old-fashioned way: by showing up, putting in the work, and making every performance count.

DECIMATE METALFEST 2026 ARTIST SPOTLIGHT - KILL THE ECLIPSE

Kill the Eclipse is a hard-hitting punk/hardcore trio based out of Fort Saskatchewan, AB. Delivering a high impact set loaded with energy. The band fronted by Matt, with Schevann on bass and Aaron behind the kit, delivers loud, fast, unapologetic music designed for crowded floors and ringing ears.

Tearing up venues in the Edmonton area for the past two years, Kill the Eclipse is focused on being a band that leaves nothing on the table. Their first release, "Echoes Enough," captures the same intensity they bring to every show. The intent never changes: turn it up, play hard and bring it!
