This 4-day Agricultural Exhibition, known as the “Family Fun Fair” offers the excitement of an old-fashion country fair, where you will find lots of entertainment, education and fun for all ages. One of the Halifax County Exhibition’s goals is to bring awareness to the agricultural industry and the many aspects of that, as well of the history of the farming community.

💚 Upcoming Local Event!

On April 25th, the Moose River Gold Mine Museum Society will be hosting a commemorative event marking the 90th anniversary of the 1936 cave-in. This gathering will pay tribute to the brave men and women who took part in the rescue efforts following the cave-in, a powerful reminder of courage, resilience, and community. This year also marks the 40th anniversary of the museum, making the day even more meaningful. Come on out, we would love to see you!
