Results from the ropings. The open list is the top 15 teams back to the short round and averages with placings paid. Open was $3000/man for first, $1500/man second, and $500/man for third.

Huge thank you to our everyone that made the 2019 Bakken Twine Tossin a success again! The open was full with 60 teams and paid out $10,000, the 11 roping was good with 150 teams entered, and the seven had 122 teams. It was hot but the roping went off well. Make sure every event at their facility is a success. To all the people that stepped in and worked chute, pushed steers, announced, and just did whatever it took to “get er done”... thank you. It’s a big day and we were done by supper time. Hope to see you next year!

Open entries tomorrow at 5 PM! Please text your entries so i have a record of them (specify header/heeler). Taking the first 30 pick teams entered (pick one draw one) and the rest will be put on a waiting list in case of turnouts. The open is not STRA approved (only the 11 slide and seven roping are). You don’t want to miss this if your an open roper... if 60 teams, $10,000 paid out (1st- $6000, 2nd- $3000, 3rd-$1000). 100% payback, $1000 added, stock and office covered. 306-891-6340 to enter... 5PM sharp.

In regards to the Open Roping at the Bakken Twine Tossin...

- the open roping will not be STRA approved as it is limited entry. You will not need an STRA membership to enter the open roping.

- contestants will only be able to enter themselves and/or their partner... there is no “buddy groups”.

- text message or email will be the way to enter so that i can keep track of a waiting list if there is one (texts delivered before 5 pm on July 29,2019 will not be considered a valid entry). Please specify who is header/heeler when entering.

Once the first 30 teams are received i will post a list of contestants and ask that their fees are paid via e-transfer along with a due date for entry payment. This will eliminate having to refund a lot of e transfers if there are more than 30 teams entered.

The Bakken Twine Tossin is in conjunction with the Midale bull Riders Canada Event (Friday Night), and the Barrel Racing Sunday (Melissa Rasmussen hosts). There is a beer gardens on-site, bathrooms and concession, and cabarets following the Bull Riding and Team Roping’s. We ask that all contestants and families please follow the signs posted for parking and clean up all garbage throughout the weekend.
