Founded in 1945, Pender Harbour May Day is the Sunshine Coast's largest and longest-running event. Organized by a dedicated committee of volunteers, this celebration honours the area's rich history and vibrant community spirit. As a fundraiser for the Pender Harbour Community Club and other local initiatives, May Day features a new theme each year, ensuring a delightful event that includes a parad

e, games, entertainment, and food. May Day is an inclusive and unbiased celebration, welcoming people from all walks of life and around the world to come and enjoy.

We’re absolutely beaming over here because there are SO many people to thank! 💛 May Day truly is a community event, and we feel incredibly lucky to have the support of so many amazing local businesses.

Some donated funds, others donated prizes for the silent auction, and some are even keeping our hardworking volunteers well-fed (Pender Legion, we’re looking at you 👀🍔).

So many thank-yous, so little time… but we appreciate every single one of you for helping make May Day 2026 such a success!

Vendors will be located inside the Community Hall this year, be sure to pay them a visit and check out an amazing selection of artisan goods, jewellery, fashion, distilleries, community groups, apothecary items and more!
