Our beloved Folk Art Festival is in it's 35th year and continues to be not only the most fun you can have in just four hours, but also the biggest annual fundraiser for the Lunenburg Heritage Society.
The Lunenburg War Memorial Arena is our biggest and most accessible place in town to host such an event, and its important to remember that it is an old building in a small town. Essentially its a space that doesn't have all the creature comforts of a newer, formal event space and this includes limited wifi. Each year this festival is organized and executed by a very small yet very dedicated batch of local volunteers, and as the technologies change we do our best to keep up. :)
We ask that you continue to bring CASH with you as this will speed up both the line movements and the payment processes ENORMOUSLY, particularly at the entrance. No bars or signal required for cash transactions! :)
