Thank you to all of the amazing talent who submitted to our Emerging Artist Showdown! 👏 Y’all just keep making it harder to narrow down finalists! After much deliberation we have chosen our top 6 contenders:

Not only did LMITF have the honour of presenting ALL THREE Radio Station of the Year Awards (including the Radio Station of the Year Medium Market that WE sponsor🥰), but we also got to celebrate our epic alumni and their wins! A HUGE congratulations goes out to our winners:

Dust off that old guitar!🎸💨 It’s Emerging Artist Showdown Time✨

Each year, we open the gates to the Emerging Artist Showdown and welcome video submissions from across the province. Our Lucknow’s Music in the Fields committee carefully reviews the applications and releases the finalists for public voting! Yup, it’s up to YOU🫵 The artists with the most votes will be added to the official lineup as the side-stage openers for our festival headliners!

This annual opportunity was created in honour of our first-ever Emerging Artist Showdown winner, James Cameron❤️ Thanks to the Cameron family and their allowing of us to continue this tribute, we dedicate this contest in his memory and donate festival proceeds towards mental health organizations each season🌾

So clear those vocal cords, because 2026 submissions start RIGHT NOW✍️ go to our website to fill out the application and read all contest rules and information. Submissions will be accepted now until FRIDAY, MAY 29th at 11:59EST⏰

If Lucknow’s Music in the Fields has all been about ONE THING… it’s giving you the very best experience🌾

We were lucky enough to receive the Experience Ontario Grant! This funding by the Government of Ontario provides support for festivals and events connecting people with local experiences in the province!🤠

Funding like this is the reason why our non-profit festival continues being the successful and amazing Greater Music for a Greater Cause event that it is!🌾

The Lucknow & District Kinsmen Club’s grand opening of the Kin Centre was a HUGE success!🤠🎉

The Kin Centre is the largest project that this committee has ever completed in the history of their club, and thanks to the incredible team of 12 Kinsmen, along with all of the trades and businesses who smoothly operated the construction/development, this project broke ground on June 15th, 2025 and completed in less than 6 months, hosting its first Kinsmen meeting December 3rd, 2025🤯

At the grand opening, the Lucknow & District Kinsmen Club received a generous donation of $50,000 from Bruce Power, presented by Senior Strategist, Chad Richards, to go towards the Kinsmen Centre/Unique Minds Childcare❤️👶🏻

Thank you Bruce Power! Thank you Kinsmen! It’s amazing to see how love changes everything🌾❤️
