Our sound system blew! Last week at the Punk Rock Flea Market London after party, our sound system died. ποΈ Thanks to Ruby, Sophia and Savanah, we were able to get the show up and running again in no time. We made it work and, as always SLASH NEED set was unbelievableβ¦ However, It was a real blow for us at Honey Dip, we are a small operation and thatβs a big unexpected cost. This unfortunate event left us in a rough situation, a music venue without a Soundsystem. Weβre turning to our community with hat in hand, asking for support. Honey Dip needs a new sound system! Our friends in closeout have put together a stellar lineup for a fundraiser show on OCT 16. Additionaly our friend Kevin β¨ has set up a GoFundMe, QR on second slide. β‘οΈ

The secondhand board we bought off of a church helped us get our dream off the ground, but itβs time for an upgrade. We have hosted 300+ events since opening June 2025, our goal is to continue hosting great shows and world class artists for many years to come. For that, we need something that not only sounds good, but is reliable. After consulting the three sound people we most regularly work with, weβve come up with a plan for a reliable rig. We are moving over to a 22 channel passive board which also means purchasing the appropriate power amps and rack to hold them.

$3000 get us back up and running, covers the cost of power amps, board and DI boxes/cables
$4000 get us power, Amp DI boxes, board and fixes our house base cab/amp. Finally completing our back line
$5000 get us power Amp, DI boxes, 22 channel board base cab/Amp and a subwoofer

We will post a cost breakdown of our purchase for the sake of transparency.

Itβs hard to ask for help. Our little bar is still only a year old. We started Honey Dip for the sake of art, punk rock and community. Weβre here to make a living, not a killing, if we could handle this ourselves, we would.
With gratitude: π The Honey Dip team π
