London Region – thank you for making our 2025 Steps for Life campaign an unforgettable success!

This achievement wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support and dedication of our walkers, families and friends, colleagues, community partners, sponsors, volunteers, and the generosity of our donors. Together, you’ve helped set brand-new records for Steps for Life London Region — with our highest-ever turnout and over $48,000 raised (and counting!).

A heartfelt thank you to our family spokesperson, Todd Smith (Threads of Life Board Vice-Chair), for sharing his story of workplace tragedy and honouring the memory of his brother, Sean. Your voice reminds us all why this cause matters.

We’re also grateful to Luke Vandenbosch (London Home Builders’ Association) and Jeff Lang (President & CEO, WSIB) for their inspiring words during our opening ceremonies. Your messages highlighted the critical importance of workplace safety and the essential role Threads of Life plays in supporting families and preventing future tragedies.

Special thanks to Terence Kernaghan (MPP, London North Centre) and Peggy Sattler (MPP, London West) for your long standing support of our walk and mission. We appreciate you being a part of our day.

It was truly a pleasure and an honour to walk alongside you at our May 3 community event. Take care, stay safe — and we can’t wait to welcome you back in 2026!

Donations will be accepted until the end of May. Visit stepsforlife.ca to contribute or learn more.
