Fabulous opening night at Lilloofest tonight. Adults enjoying live music while kids ran around the grounds, trying out the race track for tomorrow’s camel races, building camel costumes and whirling hula hoops! And the free chilli dogs and fruit pudding were loved by all. Loads more fun, food and music tomorrow, starting at Noon… Don’t miss the hilarious camel races! You can build a last minute camel costume on site from Noon till the races begin.

Hooray!!! Lilloofest starts tonight, Friday Sept. 5th at 6 pm. It's all FREE!
Hot dogs and chili and LIVE Music.
The fabulous Rosie and Ched start the musical entertainment at 6 pm, followed by Clayton Charleyboy, and capped off by SofaKing.
Also, Vendors for a night market.

The New Dwellers will be playing at LillooFest this Saturday evening, Sept. 6th, on the Rec Centre grounds. .. followed by SofaKing. Music on Saturday probably starts around 6 pm… depending on all the other fun things we have planned for you that afternoon.

Join in the hilarity! Build a camel for the races on Saturday. It’s easy! some cardboard, blankets, tape and a little creativity - and you’re done. Just look at some of the silly camel costumes from the races in 2012! I bet you could do that… or better! C’mon. It’ll be a hoot!!!!

Join in the wacky and historic fun!!! Awards for
Fastest Camel, Best Looking Camel and Best Camel Dance!
Step 1: Create your 2-person, wearable camel
Build your camel in advance, (last-minute materials will be at Lilloofest,Fri. Sept. 5th, 6 pm-9 pm and on Sat. Sept. 6, Noon–2 pm)
• All Camels must have at least 2 people wearing them.
• Camels must have 1 or 2 humps.
• No wheels or mechanical propulsion will be allowed (except for individuals needing wheelchairs or walkers)
Step 2: Race! On Sat. Sept. 6th on Rec Centre Lawn, at Lilloofest
• 3 pm: Kids (13 and under) Races
• 5 pm: Adult Races
