Lake Country ArtWalk ArtWalk is a highly successful annual arts festival that features the best in creative, original artworks, along with music, theatre, workshops and more!

This year ArtWalk takes place September 6 & 7, 2025 and is open from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. both days. Lake Country ArtWalk, the largest of its kind in the BC interior, showcases original works of art and live performances created by visual and performing artists living in the Okanagan Valley. More than 200 artists of all media are exhibiting over 3000 original works of art. The event plays host to ove

The Kite Festival comes to ArtWalk—where the sky itself becomes a canvas. Decorate your own mini kite at the interactive station or simply enjoy the spectacle above.

For longtime locals: you may remember Mr. Guenette’s kite festivals at Wood Lake Elementary… he’ll be here this weekend leading kite making once again!

This weekend at ArtWalk 2025, the Kite Festival takes flight

Bring the whole family and join in on the fun:
- Decorate your very own mini kite at the interactive station
- Watch as the sky becomes a canvas of colour and movement
- Celebrate art in motion with a joyful reminder that creativity has no limits

And for those of you who grew up in Lake Country and had Mr. Guenette as a teacher—you’ll remember he used to put on a small kite festivals at Wood Lake Elementary. We’re thrilled to share that he’ll be back this weekend, leading kite making once again! 🪁

Don’t miss this uplifting celebration of imagination soaring above us all.
