From the Bottom of Our Hearts, Thank You, Ladner! ❤️
This year’s Community Christmas Dinner was one for the books. The warmth, laughter, and love that filled the hall reminded us why we do this year after year.
We want to give a heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who made it possible:
✔️ To the wonderful kitchen crew who came the day before to prep ingredients, organize supplies, and set the stage for a smooth event, your quiet dedication never goes unnoticed.
✔️ To our decorating dream team who transformed the hall into a beautiful, welcoming space, every detail made the day feel extra magical.
✔️ To our incredible behind-the-scenes kitchen heroes who cooked, carved, tossed, plated, and washed from start to finish, your hustle kept everything flowing seamlessly.
✔️ To the servers who delivered each plate with warmth and care, you helped create such a welcoming experience for our guests.
✔️ To those who kept the energy high and the guests smiling, you helped turn a meal into a celebration.
✔️ And a special thank you to Alex Whittaker, whose music brought people out of their seats and onto the dance floor. Your talent filled the room with so much joy.
✔️ To our generous donors, thank you for your kindness and support. Whether you contributed food, supplies, financial support, or simply helped spread the word, your generosity made this dinner possible. It truly takes a village, and we are so grateful you’re part of ours.
✔️And to every guest who joined us, thank you.
Whether you’re a longtime Ladner local, new to South Delta, or spending the holidays away from loved ones, thank you for showing up. You reminded us all that connection, community, and shared meals are what this season is really about. Seeing your smiles, hearing your laughter, and celebrating together is what makes this tradition so special.
This tradition continues because of YOU, all of you. Volunteers, donors, supporters, and guests. Thank you for showing up, giving back, and reminding us all what community is truly about.
Until next year, with full hearts,
Shirley & Jeff
