Prairie Fibre Festival is an annual Fibre Festival in Central Alberta which has Fibre Artists from throughout Alberta meet up for an Epic market

Hi Fibre Friends, if you are on our newsletter list you have "herd" the N-EWES!

November is usually the time where we announce our event dates for the next year! This year however we have a different kind of announcement. It is time for the herd at PFF to head into the sunset on the Prairies.

We have no specific reasons in particular but any of them all just come down to “it's time".

We feel our 10th anniversary was so joyous and positive that it is a good note to end our journey on.

I want everyone here to know that EWE have all made this ride a beautiful and special part of my life! So many memories, connections and of course fibre friends.!

I am not sad but proud and filled with gratitude that I was able to be a part of such an incredible time in the fibre festival community.

I look forward to seeing you all at other fibre festivals and out and about in the greater fibre community.

My hope is that you all hold warm memories of PFF and that you are all as grateful as I am to be a part of something so special.

THANK YOU - ONE AND ALL!

It was an INCREDIBLE weekend in SO MANY WAYS and there is SO MUCH thankfulness in our hearts as we reflect on all that was this weekend!

First to my volunteer team - who without them none of this would be possible! Angela, Kerri, Nadia, Izzi, Steff, Erin, Tanya, Melody, Laura, Debbie and Brandie. Thank ewe for bringing the heart of the festival to everyone you encountered throughout the weekend.

Of course the Vendors - who are such amazing creators in their own right but also bring that inspiration to life in the Vendor Hall for all of us that come and enjoy!

The attendees this year really blew me away, from those who have always come faithfully year after year to those who had never ever been, your enthusiasm for the festival is what brings us so much joy!

Our sponsor for Goldy's Gathering, Sassy Strings brought the magic of her new collection to our gathering. Enjoying each others company and making those connections that bring us together is really what it's all about.

Our instructors Laurie, Kirsten, Joline, Anna and Pat who shared their knowledge with our students makes our festival even more special because continually learning is also so very important to our crafts.

And to top it off those who generously donated to our door prizes and purchased our Merch! Thank you!

Lastly a special thank you for everyone that shared something special in my gift at the end of the festival. You all touched my heart deeply. Knowing that our festival has a special place in your heart as well! Thank you one and all!

Our 10th anniversary celebration is not one we will soon forget.
