Allow me to introduce myself, I am your Fireside Gathering host, Mark Wilson. Hearthstone is a free-to-play online card game from Blizzard Entertainment Inc. After seeing a growing number of Fireside Gathering events providing a social way to enjoy Hearthstone, I have organized a venue in my hometown of Kitchener, Ontario, Canada for the benefit of players in the group of nearby cities of Kitchene
r, Waterloo, Cambridge, and Guelph (a combined population of just over half a million people). I have arranged permission to use some space in the Tannery Building in downtown Kitchener which can accommodate large groups and has several different sized areas (lunch rooms and meeting rooms) and excellent WiFi Internet service. The KW Fireside Gatherings are roughly once a month on a Thursday evening, for ages 18+ (due to liability concerns), and have casual play, informal tournaments, trivia games, strategy discussion, viewing of North American and World Championships, or any other Hearthstone-related activities for fun.
