As we get closer and closer to PRIDE IN THE PARK and tri-Pride’s 30th anniversary, we continue to remember and honor the stories that have shaped our path. Fabian Fletcher was the tri-Pride Board President and Chair from 2023-2026, leading and inspiring a formative period for tri-Pride.

Pride in the Park wouldn’t be what it is without music and the local musicians that breathe life into the event through their sound! We’re thrilled to host the musical excellence of 6 diverse artists/groups that will feed your soul, make you dance, and explore identity through sonic solidarity! Meet your SUMMERFEST musicians:

Meet : a local folk rock band playing original songs ranging from hard-hitting rock to ballads, to melodic rock grooves across themes of decidedly q***r life experiences.

Meet DJ ANGEL P : a Black Q***r multidisciplinary artist creating unapologetically inclusive community experiences through high-energy DJ sets inspired by her Q***r-Caribbean roots highlighting the importance of global club and diverse music traditions.

Meet : a ferociously kind & poignant musician bringing punk back to Pride with both covers and original songs that honor trans & q***r identities.

Meet SUMMERR .summer: a lifelong musician & event organizer who invites authentic self-expression & freedom through high energy, playful, pop, techno & hyper-pop DJ prowess. Also the founder of Guelphs !

Meet : a grassroots movement seeking to strengthen community engagement and connection through song! We’re thrilled to have their easy to learn, non-religious songs grounded in love, nonviolence & solidarity on the Pride stage!

Meet RAVEN: a young cover artist with a tenderly strong voice channeling pain into music!

CALLING ALL TRI-CITY BASED DRAG ARTISTS, MUSICIANS & DJs

Our annual Pride event, Summer Festival is just around the corner and we’re ready to find this years cast of entertainers to highlight both drag and musical excellence from right here in Cambridge, Kitchener & Waterloo. Every year, our performer lineup makes Pride as a celebration and protest, memorable. With thousands of folks attending each year, this is your opportunity to take on the biggest Pride stage in the Region and be a part of an epic 8-hour Pride extravaganza. We’re amped to be casting + compensating 12 unique local drag performances and 5 unique local music performances.

With a deep commitment to intentional and community-centred practices, we’re thrilled to once again host an open, equitable, and transparent CASTING CALL this year. If you’re a drag artist of any kind or a musician of any kind, we want to see what you’ve got! Simply submit an application which includes a demo reel using the link in our bio or via our website. You’ll find an entertainment criteria within the form so you know exactly what we’re looking for and how we’ll be make casting decisions. Applications due by May 1st!

Our annual Pride event, Summer Festival is just around the corner and we’re ready to find this years vendor lineup that will animate the Marketplace at Summer-Fest, YEAR 30! Every year, we host close to 100 local, q***r and q***r-friendly businesses, Q***r affirming services & makers that share their work with the thousands of folks that come out to honor and celebrate Pride. This year, we’re continuing to be extra intentional about making space for local, Q***r and Indigenous organizations & businesses alongside allies. We want to see you out there with us!

Interested in selling your products and representing your work as a vendor at Summer-Fest ‘26 YEAR 30?
