🌶️🔥 We did it, Sizzle Nation!
Another Similkameen Sizzle is in the books and wow: our little pepper party just keeps getting bigger, bolder and spicier every year!
✨ First, a giant thank-you to our volunteers. Honestly, this year’s crew deserves all the praise (and probably a lifetime supply of Gatorade thanks to that heat and all the sweating last weekend 😂). From setting up at sunrise to sweeping up at sunset, you powered this festival with good vibes, elbow grease and a healthy dose of caffeine. And to those who braved the dunk tank… we see you and we appreciate you:

We’re especially grateful to all those chill vendors who rolled with the hiccups and still smiled wide. Each year we learn, tweak and get a little better… and you make the ride worth it! Sure, there are hot sauce shindigs sprinkled across Canada, but only this one is a pepper festival - rooted in our valley’s agri-cultural heritage, with tons of small-town charm. The Similkameen Sizzle is still Canada’s only hot pepper festival and that’s something we're incredibly proud of. What makes it unique isn’t just the heat: it’s the passion, produce and personality of this valley.
