One of the things that makes Dîner en Blanc so special is the community behind it. Friends invite friends, tables fill with familiar faces and new connections, and together we create an unforgettable evening.

We're delighted to share that friend invitations open tomorrow June 2.

If you've been invited by a member, this is your opportunity to join us for an evening of elegance, celebration and surprise as Dîner en Blanc makes its South Okanagan debut. Set against the beauty of wine country, guests will gather at a secret location for a magical summer evening inspired by the romance of Paris and the spirit of the Okanagan. The event date is July 16.

Guests bring their own picnic, or choose a catered option, bring a white linen table cloth, picnic supplies, table and chairs (we do have some for rent also) and together we create the largest pop-up picnic the Okanagan has ever witnessed. We’re thrilled to debut Dîner en Blanc in the South Okanagan for the very first time. A secret location. A summer night wrapped in wine country charm and Parisian-inspired glamour.

✨ Remember — you do not need to purchase your food, wine, flowers or rentals on Day 1. You can return to your profile and visit the e-store any time before it closes. Your priority during registration is selecting your departure point and bus leader.

🚌 In addition to luxury coach service, we’re also offering a pedestrian option this year. Guests selecting this option will receive their rendezvous location 24 hours before the event. The final destination, of course, remains secret until the very last moment, but it will be in the South Okanagan.

🍷 When you explore the e-store, you’ll find curated selections of and along with menu options from local chefs. Please review selections carefully before confirming payment, as all purchases are final.

For wine you are permitted two bottles per table. No outside alcohol is permitted.

This year’s edition promises a stunning location, incredible South Okanagan wine country energy and a touch of Parisian glamour under the summer sky.

We are super excited to debut in the South Okanagan!
The global outdoor dining experience, Dîner en Blanc, is heading to the South Okanagan for the first time, bringing its signature blend of elegance, mystery and community celebration to the heart of country.... but where?

True to tradition, the secret venue will remain under wraps until the very last moment. 💫

“The South Okanagan offers an incredible blend of wine, agriculture, hospitality and natural beauty, making it an ideal backdrop for an experience like Dîner en Blanc,” said Oliver Mayor Martin Johansen. “This event shines a spotlight on the people, places and businesses that help define our region. We are thrilled to see this internationally recognized event create new excitement and visitation for communities throughout the South Okanagan.”

“Hosting Dîner en Blanc in the South Okanagan is an exciting opportunity to bring people together in a way that celebrates our vibrant community and our world-class hospitality,” said Penticton Mayor Julius Bloomfield. “Events like this create memorable experiences, while supporting our local businesses and showcasing the unique character that makes this region so special.”

Tickets: join the exclusive fan list at okanagan.dinerenblanc.com to be among the first to reserve tickets when Phase 3 opens on June 4. Returning members will receive advance access beginning May 28. Tickets are sold in pairs and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Originally launched in Paris, Dîner en Blanc now takes place in major cities and tourism destinations around the world, drawing thousands of guests annually for its signature outdoor dining experience. This summer marks the 11th season of Diner en Blanc Okanagan.

Guests will gather at departure locations in communities from Kelowna to Oliver before being transported to the secret site.

We’re especially looking to connect with people across the South Okanagan to be table leaders and support guest welcome teams at our southern bus departure locations.
