Update for September 21, 2022:

Upon further inspection, the unusually warm summer that Kamloops experienced has enhanced the w**d growth in the competition beats at Morgan Lake as well, which leaves the organizing committee with little choice but to make a venue change for Day Two of the Ladies National Fly Fishing Championship.

After much consideration it has now been decided that we will now be using Edith Lake and Roche Lake for boat sessions to replace Morgan Lake and Six Mike Lake on Day Two of the championship.

The change in venues will allow everyone a more fair and equal opportunity to access and catch fish, and a better angling experience! It will also provide an excellent opportunity for everyone to fish on two more of the lake venues that will be used for the 2023 Ladies World Fly Fishing Championship.

The venue changes has also resulted in the morning competitors meetings being bumped back to 6:30am for both competition days (Saturday and Sunday). Please note the changes on the revised Schedule of Events:

Venue Update:
Unfortunately the unexpected amount of w**d growth that occurred over the summer has choked the shallow regions along the banks at Tunkwa and made the bank session virtually impossible to use as a sector for the championship, so the bank session on Tunkwa Lake will be substituted with a boat fishing session that will be fished loch-style on the southern half of Tunkwa Lake.

Thank you for your understanding on this venue change.
