Muskoka River X Since 2013 River X Racing has been Rob Horton and Mike Varieur with the ongoing support of Algonquin Outfitters. See http://muskokariverx.com/ for details.

River X is a passion for ultra-distance marathon paddling + adventure. The flag-ship event is the Muskoka River X; the longest single day expedition paddling race in the world. In 2015, the Muskoka River X expanded by adding a traverse of Algonquin Park to the Classic event, and the Coureur des Bois was born. Since then River X has hosted several ultra-distance marathon paddling events including t

he Big East River X, 24 Hours of River X, The OX, Battle of the Paddle, Huntsville 110 and the David Thompson Virtual Paddle Challenge.

The MRX had a visit today from Jeff H2O Paddlesport Inc. who delivered a pair of H20 Boundary 17-6 performance tripping canoes. Built in Premium Carbon Race Edition with all the bells and whistles these are definitely backcountry tripping weapons. Weighing in at 32.5lbs, this version of the Boundary model can definitely pinch hit within the MRX C2 Stock category. They immediately went into the water for a test paddle. Exactly as we hoped. Thank you Jeff. Amazing craftsmanship.
