Mission:
THE HUDSON MUSIC FESTIVAL (HMF) was established in 2007 to create a vibrant cultural environment in the village of Hudson, Quebec and the surrounding region, through the presentation and creation of music, but not exclusive to music. The aim or goal of HMF is to support and enhance the performance opportunities of the local area musicians, both professional and amateur as well as hosting
artists from out of the region (national and international) that will both compliment and challenge the cultural definition of the region. The music produced and presented by HMF is not restricted by one specific genre or idiom, but is structured to encourage innovation. This emphasis allows artists (amateur and professional) to take risks with their work while uniting and exposing the region to music and art that they would not otherwise encounter.

Le Festival de Musique de Hudson (FMH) a été créé en 2007 afin de mettre en place un environnement culturel vibrant dans le village de Hudson (Québec), et dans la région alentour, par le biais de la présentation et de la création musicale, tout en accueillant d'autres formes artistiques. Le but du FMH est d'encourager et de mettre en valeur les opportunités de productions des musiciens locaux, qu'ils soient amateurs ou professionnels, ainsi que de recevoir des artistes de toutes origines, au niveau national et même international. La musique produite et présentée à l'occasion du FMH ne se réduit pas à un genre particulier, au contraire elle se veut structurée pour encourager l'innovation. Ceci permet aux artistes - amateurs ou professionnels - d'explorer une nouvelle dimension de leur travail tout en unissant et en exposant la région à la musique et à la culture, comme nulle part ailleurs. http://www.hudsonmusicfestival.ca
