Dear friends, family & community:

We would like to take this moment to make an official announcement. At the end of January, 2018 Casino Artspace will be closing the doors of its 176 Mary Street location. This space has been our home for the last three years and it is with a loaded heart that we announce our departure. However, Casino members aren’t going anywhere; they will continue to practice their art, craft and industry in various configurations. It has simply come to the fore that in order to protect and maintain the best interest of people’s practices, focusing on individual goals must at this time take priority. We see this time as a rebirth, not a death - an exciting opportunity to redirect and reconnect to what the future might hold. So stay tuned for new projects, new collaborations, new news. In the meantime, we would like to thank the incredible community we found here for the years of good times. Your interest, willingness to participate, friendship and support have been humbling and fortifying. You helped us grow in an unknown place. You trusted us when we weren’t sure we could even trust ourselves. You showed us what it means to be generous and genuine. Thank you for letting us be ourselves in your midst. We love this town and are immensely grateful for the opportunities we’ve had here. We are excited for the next steps of the Casino crew and hope to continue crossing creative paths with you in the future! Hard to call it a loss when everyone’s a Winner 😉😓🤪😍😝😚

On October 24th, my dear friend Catherine's gear was stolen from her before a show, items included her computer, organelle, pedal effects, cables, wallet, whole music and personal life. Although, she might not be able to retrieve the music she has made in the past, we might be able to offer her...
