We’re collecting clean glass jars for the Northern Lights Lantern Festival — and we’d love your help!

If you have any extra jars at home, drop them off at the Needham Community Centre. Your donation will help us create a beautiful night filled with light, music, and community 💛

We’re looking for:
• Clean, washed glass jars
• Labels removed
• No lids

All shapes and sizes are welcome!

✨ It’s hard to believe it’s already been a week since Northern Lights Lantern Festival 2025! ✨

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this year’s festival such a success:
💡 Our incredible volunteers, whose energy and dedication brought the event to life.
🤝 Our sponsors and supporters, whose generosity helps keep this community tradition going strong.
🎶 The wonderful musicians who performed at the festival.
📋 Our volunteer Board of Directors, who work year-round to make the festival possible.
🌙 And of course, the thousands of community members who attended, filling Merv Sullivan Park with joy, music, and light.

The festival has been shining in North End Halifax since 2003, and 2025 was our most successful year yet for volunteers — over 60 volunteers filling more nearly 90 volunteer slots!

Thank you all for being part of this celebration of community, culture, and connection. We can’t wait to see you again in 2026!

Congratulations to our 50/50 draw winner Caitlyn Wood! The final jackpot was $4110, with the winner taking $2055. Thanks to everyone who bought tickets. Proceeds will support next year’s Northern Lights Lantern Festival.
