Just a quick reminder that registration closes tomorrow for this year's event on Sept. 20 in the Haliburton Highlands. You've got till Tues. Sept. 16 at midnight to sign up for the final adventure race of the season in Ontario. For those who haven't heard we've added a navigation-based 60km team adventure race to the program.

We're very short on volunteers this year. If you've signed up and can bring a friend or family member to help out, please get in touch. Volunteering is also a great opportunity to get an inside look at the sport for newcomers. All volunteers receive an event T-shirt, post-event meal and on-site shared accommodations. If you can volunteer, please email Bob at [email protected]. Thanks so much!

After 7 days and 10 hours at the Adventure Race World Championship in Costa Rica, our race director Bob Miller and team Tecnu crossed the finish line with team Adidas Terrex Prunesco of the U.K. in a 3rd place tie. The teams decided to finish together after racing hard alongside one other for the past two days. Great sportsmanship - very classy. Congratulations, Bob! [Photo by Nordenmark Adventure]
