Sit at the back of our shaded stage to protect your clothes, or dare the front and catch every muddy detail! As you move throughout the village, the shanty tunes and jigs of

Ahoy yer rogues and villains!

A while back we got in a bit of a pickle (Mmm, pickles!) but yer can help us fix it. Last August, we lost access to our Insta account. No rhyme or reason to it (and trust us, we spent -months- trying to get access again - we know everything there is to know about the topic) but it seems a lost cause.

So with just a skootch over two months until we drop gangplank again, we've started a new Insta account - so do us a favor and sail over and Follow us at on Insta.

And to make it a little sweeter, we're gonna post a free ticket contest in the first week of June, so do it now! Now, darn the lot of yer!

Gonna be a salt summer - enjoy these photos from last year! Y'arrr!

Ahoy to the vendors!
We've received many a missive from a great lot of yer wanting to vend at our fine event, so we're tickled to announce - the 2026 Vendor Application form is ready! Yer can download it off the Marketplace page of the Ontario Pirate Festival website (link in the comments).

Some notes:
- preference will be given to hand-made goods - no 3D-printed or AI artwork, if'n yer please
- we love quality photos of yer crafts; about a 3-6 photos is a great number
- we only have about a dozen slots available, so the sooner yer apply, the better. We're hoping to have all decisions made by the end of April
- in particular this year we're looking for a face-painter, and a roving fancy coffee cart.

If yer have questions it's best to email us through the website, or directly via the email address on the Vendor Application. Note, all typos on the form are Captain Kelly's fault.

C'mon and join the crew!

Did we mention that Captain Zoltan likes rats? And ships?

(And hey you vendors and vendor wannabes... keep a steady weather-eye on this space...)

'The Sea Rat' watercolour and gouache, 24 x 31cm. Victorian art connoisseurs may recognise the influences of Ford Madox Brown and William Trost Richards in this painting.

Yanno if it's rats and pirates together, Cap'n Zoltan's gonna wanna share it...

It feels like it's been raining for weeks in , so here's a suitably wet from 2013, 'Captain Ratbeard' 24 x 31cm. I've been drawing an old pirate character quite a bit recently - maybe the open sea and adventure is calling me... then again maybe not, I'll stick to my drawing board thanks.

In about a month we're gonna open things up for new vendors, and our festival's so packed there are limited spaces - if you were a vendor last year and wanna come back, better claim yer space soon before we let some other pirate plunder it!

Gonna be another great summer! Y'arrr!

Avast yer rogues and villains! Last we saw yer it was in the heat of summer, and now it's... less so. But yer can share a little warmth with us by comin' out to the 51st Annual Campbellville Country Christmas Parade, tomorrow (Sunday the 21st), startin' around 1:30p or so.

C'mon out and give a wave to yer favorite pirate crew as they pass by, and get a last look at our ship, The Flying Elbow, before the end of 2025.

And whether yer make it out or otherwise, may the rest of yer year be merry and bright.

Y'arrr to yer all from The Ontario Pirate Festival...!
