What a weekend that was!

Our hockey association has too many people to thank for the success of this weekend, but i am going to try. Long post alert!

Thank you to the teams for attending this weekend. It was a great group of girls and some great hockey to watch. We hope you had an enjoyable weekend.

Thank you to all the family and fans who supported these young women during the weekend as well as supported our rink, kitchen and raffles. It was a busy and exciting weekend at the rink. Our arena was filled with conversation, laugher and excitement all weekend long.

Thank you to the many volunteers that were needed to put this all together. We had so many people in the community contribute to make this weekend happen. From baking pies, working shifts, donations, to all the behind the scenes stuff, etc. we appreciate you all!

Thank you to all of our sponsors for both monetary donations as well as other donated product or items. We couldn’t have done this with out all of your support.

Thank you to our Westman Falcons for agreeing to host this tournament. The girls and their families helped out all weekend. Falcons Managers did a huge amount of work both in preparation for this weekend and during the weekend. You were a rockstar and will be roped in to help us do this all again some time. 🙃

Thank you to all the Refs who kept things going all weekend and braved the weather today.

Thank you to Emmy and Fred who are our kitchen workers. They kept everything running smoothly and kept everyone well fed all weekend long.

Thank you to Jeff for being available all weekend to work the zamboni. And Matt Neale for his various maintenance on the ice and building where needed.
