Things have been slow at skate, and so it’s time for a wee hiatus.

We plan to come back this spring/summer, and have some great ideas that are percolating in the back of our minds on how to grow the scene again.

We are inviting all parents, and guardians of the community with children aged 4-19 to come participate in a Parent Social Night at Undercurrent Youth Centre!

As a mom myself I would love to know the staff, programs, cost(low or no), and the facility my children would be going to so we want to invite you to do just that!

It is a Monday evening from 630-830, you can come for some of the time or all of it. Staff will be there to meet, and answers any questions you may have!

We also want to meet the parents of the youth that could be or are coming to our centre!

Free sweets and coffee, tea and water will be given, with some light music !

Come meet our staff, other parents, and find out all the info!

This Saturday!! We're excited to be helping Girls On Boards run this learn to skate program at Coxheath from 10am to 12pm.

If you have any questions at all, please reach out! All abilities welcome, and coaching will be provided to meet skaters (and non-skaters) at the level they are at!

Cape Breton sessions are getting started! We’ll be holding a Learn to Skate session in Coxheath along with the wonderful folks at on June 3 from 10am - 12pm.

This session is for girls and non-binary skaters between ages 8-18.

It’s been quiet on the Shred Sirens front, but here’s a few snaps from the last couple of months. Spring is coming though! Soon we’ll be back two nights a week and having outdoor sessions again. Hope to see you soon!
