Garnish Bakeapple Festival The Garnish Bakeapple is a week long community festival with food and fun for all ages. This is a week to chat, sing, dance, eat, and eat, and eat some more.

For one week in August each year our town comes alive and our people welcome visitors who join them at daily breakfasts, special suppers, gospel concerts, bingo, and all sorts of family entertainment. The bakeapple, a favourite local berry, will be featured on cheesecakes, tarts, & pies at the suppers; on toast or just about anywhere it can be spread at breakfasts. Need we tell you more? Words can’t describe the feeling of being there. Check it out for yourself. We dare say it will be a memorable experience. See you there this year.

Garnish's own Doreen Bolt did and interview with CBC Radio for their "On the Go" program yesterday. She talked with them about bakeapples, Garnish, and the Bakeapple Festival.
