FEST FORWARD helps NB musicians advance in their careers through professional development opportunities. Musicians engage in workshops, a photoshoot, and receive a professional live video of their showcase performance. Led by industry pros, this program fosters connectivity, creativity, and accelerates their growth as artists.

☆OLUWI7☆

Oluwikonok meaning 7 or on the pointing finger in wolastoqey is the solo musical project of Oluwi Aubin-Bérubé a Wolastoqew/Québécois from the deer clan and the community of Wahsipekuk. The goal of the project is to bring back old magical aspect of the Wabanaki culture into the modern eyes of today's music.

Originally from Embro, Ontario, 21-year-old Katie Schurman has lived in Fredericton for three years. Since diving into the local music scene shortly after her 19th birthday, she’s been honing her craft through open mics and writing original songs. Influenced by classic rock, Americana, folk, and country, Katie is now working on her debut album and plans to release music soon.
