This Asian Heritage Month, we honour the many cultures, histories, and contributions of Asian communities across Canada and beyond.

“Bridging Cultures, Building Futures” is more than a theme — it is a reminder that by learning from one another, embracing diversity, and building stronger connections, we create a more inclusive future for everyone.

From food and art to language, music, dance, and community stories, every culture brings something meaningful to our shared future.

We're looking for newcomer and immigrant volunteers (18+) to share their personal journeys through authentic one-on-one conversations with "readers."

Join us on April 12 for an engaging, interactive session with Ms. Xiuming Shi. Through real-life examples and guided discussion, participants will gain practical tools to recognize and respond to racism and microaggressions in everyday situations.

🌿🥞 Kolodiy Festival (Masnytsya) is coming to Fredericton! 🥞🌿

Join us for one of the oldest and most joyful Ukrainian celebrations as we say goodbye to winter and welcome spring together!

📍 St. Anthony’s Church (603 Union St, Fredericton)

• Delicious varenyky (cottage cheese pierogi) & crepes with sweet and savoury fillings
• Folk customs and traditional games
• Face painting for kids
• Music, laughter, and warm community spirit

In Ukraine, Kolodiy (also known as Cheese Week) has always been a time of family gatherings, hospitality, circle dances, songs, and shared joy. At the heart of the celebration is the ancient Kolodiy ritual — a beautiful symbol of life, unity, and connection between generations.

Enjoy traditional varenyky and pancakes available for a symbolic fee, along with coffee, tea, and hot chocolate to keep you warm and cozy.
