June is Pride Month, and at The Cultural Centre, we believe that every person — regardless of who they are, who they love, or where they come from — deserves to feel welcomed, celebrated, and seen. 🏳️‍🌈

This month, we're proud to stand alongside our tenants, partners, and the broader Fredericton community in honouring the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and affirming our commitment to building a space where everyone belongs.

The Cultural Centre was founded on the belief that diversity is our greatest strength. This Pride Month, that belief feels more alive than ever.

💙 All are welcome here — always.

What a moment to witness right here in Fredericton. 🕊️

Today we had the privilege of watching the flag-raising ceremony for the Sri Chinmoy Oneness-Home Peace Run — the world's largest torch relay — hosted in front of City Hall on Queen Street in partnership with the City of Fredericton.

A beautiful reminder that peace is something we build together, one community at a time. 🌍

Something special is happening right here in Fredericton this Thursday! 🕊️

The Sri Chinmoy Oneness-Home Peace Run — the world's largest torch relay, having visited over 155 countries — is making a stop in our city, and we are honoured to be part of it.

Join them on Thursday, May 28 at 12:30 PM for a flag-raising ceremony hosted in partnership with the City of Fredericton, right in front of City Hall on Queen Street.
This is a beautiful, open-to-all moment to stand together in the spirit of unity and peace — and you'd be joining a remarkable global community.

Past torch-bearers include former Governor General of Canada the Right Honourable Michaëlle Jean, Canadian singer-songwriter Avril Lavigne, beloved children's entertainer Fred Penner, and world leaders including Nelson Mandela and Mother Teresa.

The Peace Run has engaged over 7,000,000 participants and covered more than 395,000 miles since it began in 1987. Now it's coming through our community — and you're invited to be part of that story.
