We are always so happy to support local, and of course our seniors have a special place in our hearts. We're thrilled to announce that together with our guests we raised a total of $15,500 for the North Peace Seniors Housing Society!
The North Peace Senior Housing Society is a truly wonderful group right here in Fort St John that does so much vital work to support and provide safe housing for our local seniors. Our community is so much brighter and stronger because of their didication. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who donated, attended, and supported this effort. Because or your unmatched generosity, these funds will go directly towards helping their amazing mission and enhancing the lives of seniors in our community. Thanks to all of our attendees for stepping up and showing what a big heart this community has💖

What an incredible event they put on every summer. We were so fortunate to be the recipients of this year’s proceeds, and we are incredibly grateful for their generosity and support of our seniors.

Thanks to Fredfest, we will be able to purchase a new floor scrubber for our buildings and a hot box for our kitchen, two items that will make a big difference for our staff and residents!

If you haven’t experienced Fredfest, we highly encourage you to get your tickets for next year’s event. It truly is an amazing community event, all while supporting a great cause.

We want to send a big heartfelt thank you to Pioneer Sanitary & Offroad Rentals! They stepped up and provided a wash car for our bands and two Rangers to help ferry our guests around during Fred Fest. Logistics like this are the backbone of a successful event, and help us keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes. It's time to get down to the serious business of thanking our sponsors. Our amazing community always goes above and beyond to support local, and their generosity of time, equipment and sponsor packages are what enable us to host Fred Fest. Over the course of the next several weeks you will see many posts shouting out our supporters, and we hope that you will like, share, comment and most of all, support these great businesses whenever you have the chance. Thank you so much to each and every one of them!
Today we will start with GFL who kindly provided us with an ample supply of Porta Potties to keep our festival attendees happy😄 Not only did they provide the biffies, they also serviced them with their hydro vac trucks to keep them perfectly cleaned out. They went the extra mile and kept them stocked with paper and sanitizer and cleaned every single unit to ensure that they were as good or better than any festival anywhere! We understand that having clean bathrooms is important to your festival experience, so join us in thanking GFL for their amazing contribution to Fred Fest!

OK. The dust has settled. Everything is cleaned up and put away, campers have all departed. It’s taken a minute to process, but we’re happy to say this was the best Fred Fest ever! Not because of our numbers(which were up as we reached capacity!) Not because of the weather, which was amazing and couldn’t be better. Truly it was because of our unbelievable performers, our amazing sponsors, and most of all, of course, our incredible guests. The feedback has been astounding, and we just want you all to know that we appreciate it so much! Putting on a two day festival that encompasses our lives for an entire year in the planning, and having it come to fruition in such a beautiful way, there really aren’t words. What we saw over the course of the weekend was community, friendships, memories made❤️
At the end of the day, all of you wonderful people really made it happen, so thank you Fort St. John, you’re the absolute best! We look forward to having you back on August 20th and 21st 2027! ❤️❤️❤️
