Mid Summer’s art festival is a celebration to promote artists of a mixed variety. with an admission fee of $4.00 for adults 12 and under are free. We will be collecting donations for the Food Bank for those who wish to also contribute in this way. Location is the “Fort Site” across from Echo Ridge Golf Course. Approximately 65 vendors display their work from painting, pottery, beaded work, sewing, crafts, moccasins, glass work, and more. There is a children’s area involving creative activities, a food court, b**r gardens, and ongoing live entertainment. Proceeds from the event go towards furthering the arts.

We are still floating on a cloud after an unforgettable 30th Anniversary Mid Summer's Art Festival! 💙🌾✨

This landmark celebration was 30 years in the making and over a year in meticulous planning. It was a true labor of love and passion for our dedicated committee, but it only became a reality because our remarkable community came together to make it happen.

We want to send a wave of deep gratitude across the Valley to absolutely everyone who played a part:

🙌 Our Incredible Volunteers & Setup Crews: From those waking up at 6:00 AM to build the festival grounds to the late-night takedown teams, your energy is the heartbeat of the festival.

🚜 Town of Fort Qu'Appelle Public Works Crew: Thank you for going above and beyond, handling the heavy lifting, and helping us transform our downtown into something special.

💰 Our Sponsors & Donors: From our community sponsors to all of those who donated in kind - your overwhelming generosity removed all financial barriers so our festival could come to life.

Mid Summer's Art Festival is honoured and excited to welcome three incredible guests to our 30th Anniversary celebration this Saturday, August 1st! ☀️🌾

From comedy and culture to visual arts and Valley wilderness, our lineup brings something truly unique to downtown Fort Qu'Appelle:

🎭 Emery Burningrass (with Donald "Donnie" McDonald): The beloved, sharp-witted Cree puppet character and viral sensation is bringing his signature humour, traditional storytelling, and big laughs to the festival!

🎨 Brii Taylor Laine: A talented Treaty 4 based visual artist and educator known for her vibrant, nature-inspired paintings and passion for community arts engagement.

🌲 Torsten Hoppe: A local survival trainer and adventure guide bringing deep Qu'Appelle Valley expertise and a bit of excitement to the day!
