We are absolutely blown away by the energy, dedication, and passion that made this week so special. Events like this don’t just happen, they happen because of PEOPLE. And we are so grateful for every single one of you!!

To team managers who took on the endless admin, registrations, and logistics —> YOU are the backbone of it all & it never goes unnoticed. 🙌
To every player who laced up their skates and gave it their all on the ice 🥹, you are the reason we do this. Watching you compete was a joy from start to finish. 🌟

To the parents who packed the bags, made the drives, booked the hotels, & cheered from the stands -your support means everything to these kids & to our community.
To our incredible volunteers who worked the desks & kept everything running smoothly behind the scenes -your time & energy is a gift that we don’t take for granted!! Thank you. 🙏

To our amazing committee volunteers who put in countless hours of planning & prep long before the puck ever dropped, this week was a success because of your hard work.

To the Sportsplex, referee & time keeping staff time, YOU were absolutely phenomenal!! The ice was perfect, the facility was flawless, and your on & off-ice professionalism made the whole event run seamlessly. We couldn’t have asked for a better home for this tournament. 🏟️

To the team at Roxie’s Café, thank you for keeping everyone fuelled and smiling! The food, & warmth, & the friendly faces were the perfect touch. ☕🍕
This was more than just a hockey tournament -it was a community coming together, & that’s something truly special!! 🥹

Seven Days Done 😮‍💨

Seven days of hockey, start to finish, 🏁
Not a single moment did the spirit diminish,
From the first face-off to the final horn, 📣
A tournament worthy of the crest it’s worn.
The U15C fought through to the end,
Every backcheck, every block, every bend,
And U18C left nothing on the shelf,
A champion that earned it all itself. 🏆
The volunteers — they gave it all week long,
Tired feet but spirits still strong, 😌
The rink staff patient, flood after flood,
They kept the ice pristine and good. 🤌🏻
Roxie’s Café, you fed the crowd, 🌭
The siblings laughed and played so loud,
The parking lots were full but kind, 🚗
And Newfoundland — you blew our mind.
Seven days of early mornings done,
Of overtime and glory done,
Of little skaters finding their feet,
And U15B refusing defeat.
Every division, every age,
Each team wrote their own proud page,
From U9 right up the line — 📈
Seven days of hockey, every one divine. 🏒
So hang the banners, kill the lights,
Pack the nets and dim the nights, 🥅
We’ll see you next year, same cold air — 🥶
