The Elmira Maple Syrup Festival builds and strengthens community spirit through the involvement of a large number of locals in planning and operating a one day maple syrup Festival. Over 2,000 volunteers work hard to make this Festival happening, and approximately 70,000 people attend every year. Participation in the fun-filled day raises funds to support local charities and non-profit organizations. Since 1965, the Festival continues to promote our community, surrounding areas and local maple syrup producers.

Did you know that one Sugar Maple tree can produce about 40 litres of sap each year — and it takes every drop to make just 1 litre of pure maple syrup! 🤯

That’s what makes every bottle of maple syrup so special (and so sweet!). Next time you pour some over your pancakes, you’ll know just how much nature and hard work goes into every delicious drop. 🍁
