The Dance Theatre Performing Arts The Dance Theatre is a Performing arts school that offers children and adult classes in dance, drama Class sizes are small with two staff present at all times.

Edmonton Children's Dance Theatre is a performing arts school that offers children and adult classes in dance, drama, voice and acro/gymnastics. Although taught separately, all classes are inter-related and culminate in a full scale musical theatre production at the end of the season. Classes are taught by highly qualified and experienced instructors and performers in the disciplines offered. Our

classes are generally open to parents at all times. Students are accepted from ages 18 months to adult. Each student is given the opportunity to dance, sing and act throughout the year. They are encouraged to participate in workshops, competitions, festivals, auditions and various performing opportunities. As an enhancement to our curriculum, movie days are held to introduce various styles of dance and theatre. Dance Theatre tuition fees are amongst the lowest in the city. Families may obtain tuition assistance by participating n the E.C.D.T. Parent's Association's various fundraising activities. Students may earn a scholarship towards their tuition by participating in our self-directed learning program Intra-School Challenge. We strive to offer an inclusive program where students of all ages, levels and abilities are welcome. It is our goal to foster a lifelong love and appreciation of the performing arts in each of our students.
