Raised in Hermann, Missouri, Nathaniel Rateliff began his music career playing drums in his family’s church band. “Whether he’s grinding out old-school soul with the Night Sweats or flying solo, he’s obsessed with the idea of authenticity: the idea that a song isn’t a song unless it can be convincingly played alone on an acoustic guitar.” (Pitchfork) Showcasing his true craftsmanship as a songwriter first, it is an honour to feature a solo Rateliff – the perfect punctuation to the 2026 festival.

Ocie Elliott (Canada/BC) is the JUNO nominated musical duo of Jon Middleton and Sierra Lundy. The two have come a long way in a short time since a chance encounter in a Salt Spring Island café led to a spark, collaboration, and their ultimate partnership in music. The duo pens tunes that feel lived-in. You can hear their memories, moments, and emotions in the dusty acoustic guitars, the sparse production, and the graceful harmonies between Middleton and Lundy. The duo has been aptly described by one reviewer as “...the aural equivalent of indigo painted skies and the first summer stars."

Annie & The Caldwells (USA) are a family that plays a powerful disco soul from West Point, Mississippi. Their latest album embraces the idea that “You don’t need to share the Caldwells’ faith to find something powerful and inspiring in [their lyrics], particularly given the current climate, which can easily incline you towards hopelessness; something steeped in tradition seems apropos right now. You should listen to 'Can’t Lose My (Soul)' purely on musical terms. Moreover, it’s an album you might need.” (The Guardian)
