The only Nova Scotians who see more sunrises and sunsets than runners are dairy farmers! THANK YOU Dairy Farmers of Nova Scotia for donating chocolate milk to our finish-line for the last decade! The yogurt parfaits for our 10th anniversary breakfast was a bonus! FUN FACT: Family operated farms across Nova Scotia have always supply the dairy products at our finish line! How do we know? The milk and yogurt have the Blue Cow Logo, which means it's made with 100% Canadian milk! Dairy Farmers of Canada

FUN FACT: Mama K (race director's Mom) searched for months to find a legit captains bell. It's become a tradition for almost a decade now, if you set a personal best or if Maritime Race Weekend is your first race - you ring the bell at the finish! If you rang it last weekend, tell us your finish-time!

How many freezies do you think the JACK 92.9 Halifax crew have handed out at our finish-line over the last decade? We estimate more than 30,000! Shout out to the freezie crew! Always enthusiastic and on-site for both the sunset and sunrise! Which lets be honest for the teenagers, a 6am start-time is a pretty amazing commitment!

JESSICA hasn't missed a year. Always arriving before the sun rises and willing to help in any role needed. You name it, Jessica's done it. Let's show her some love. After 60+ hours a week working a very demanding career, also being a Mom... she still makes time to volunteer (and recruits her husband to help too)!
