The preliminary jury – Ning An, Hans Boepple, and Robin McCabe – has reached its decision. Preliminary round results for the 2026 VPS Concerto Competition have been officially released.
This year’s applicant pool presented an extraordinary level of artistry, making the selection process incredibly competitive for the jury. Congratulations to the pianists advancing to the next round. The stage at Christ Church Cathedral—and the opportunity to perform alongside the Vancouver Metropolitan Orchestra—awaits.
