KIM MITCHELL is coming to Rock the Harbour 2026! 🎸

A true Canadian rock icon, Kim Mitchell has helped shape the soundtrack of classic rock for generations — and this August, he’s bringing that energy to the Dartmouth waterfront.

We see your excitement about artist Meet and Greets at Rock the Harbour 2026, so we wanted to share a quick note! 🎵

Any performer who chooses to take part in a Meet and Greet will do so at the merchandise area, located in General Admission.

That means you do not need a VIP ticket to access the merch area, or any Meet and Greet opportunities that may be offered.

VIP tickets include table seating, VIP-only washrooms, premium bar offerings, and a custom premium menu from Evan’s Seafood. Meet and Greets, however, will take place in the GA merch area if offered by participating artists.

We’ll share more details closer to the festival as they become available.

Rock the Harbour is Atlantic Canada’s premier classic rock music festival, returning to Alderney Landing in Downtown Dartmouth, Nova Scotia from August 14–16, 2026.

As a non-profit festival, community support means everything to the success of Rock the Harbour.

As we get closer to August, seeing the excitement, conversations, and passionate support continue to build reminds us exactly why this festival matters.

Rock the Harbour was created to bring classic rock fans together on the Dartmouth Waterfront for a weekend of unforgettable live music, singalong hits, and shared memories.

It is also an important way for Alderney Landing to give back. Proceeds from the festival help support free and low-cost community programming throughout the year, including the annual Kiwanis Mother Goose Festival and Alderney Landing’s annual Fire and Water Cultural Festival.

We can’t thank you enough for your continued support of Rock the Harbour. We are grateful to have such a passionate community behind this festival, and we can’t wait to welcome you back this summer.
