Hello, I'm Kristy Roberts, a varsity athlete with an unwavering passion for sports. It wasn't until about three years ago that I stumbled upon golf, initially viewing it as merely a way to spend time with my boyfriend. Little did I know, it would quickly transform into an all-consuming obsession.
Now, as the proud owner of She Golfs, my mission is clear: to cultivate a vibrant and inclusive community for women of all ages and skill levels.
My journey began when I nervously joined a ladies golf league at Westwood Plateau Golf Club. Stepping onto that first tee box, surrounded by welcoming women of varying skill levels, I felt an instant sense of belonging. Over the course of that year, playing 65 rounds of golf, I found myself yearning for more opportunities to connect with fellow female golfers. It became apparent: there was a need for a space where women could bond over the game, forming lasting friendships while enjoying each other's company.
She Golfs is more than just about perfecting one's swing; it's a platform for empowering women to embrace their love for golf within a supportive and social setting.
Through my leadership, I aspire to inspire women to fully immerse themselves in the joys of golf and the camaraderie it fosters. My ultimate goal is to attract more women to the sport and provide a safe haven where they can strive to achieve their golfing aspirations.
Together, through this community, let's tee off on a journey of empowerment and connection, both on and off the green."
