First Nations Cup Golf FIRST NATIONS CUP (FNC)

The First Nations Cup (FNC) golf tournament was established in 1999. George Gordon is hosting the event for 2026 and 2027.

The main inspiration behind the creation of the FNC golf event was to bring together top First Nation golf talent in a team format. Since the inaugural event was held at the Indian Lakes Golf Club, in Enoch Alberta the number of First Nations participating has grown considerably from six communities (54 golfers) to One Hundred and Twelve teams and 40 junior golfers in 24 years in total 632 golfers

. The event is highly competitive and prestigious as it brings together top calibre golfers from communities across First Nation land. This event is open to all skill levels, the only criteria is “you must be a member of a First Nation, and you can only play for your First Nation”

The FNC brings many golfers and spectators to the event, creating a great opportunity to socialize and network with visiting First Nations. As the FNC continues evolving as the premier First Nation Golfing Event, and we would like to say "Thank you, to all the First Nation Communities, Athletes and Fans who have supported us in the past and look forward to hosting you again including all the new participants who will join us for this upcoming First Nations Cup in June 28th - July 4th, 2026 at Moon Lake Golf & Country Club.
