The battles have been fought. The points have been earned.

Now the championship picture is starting to come into focus.

After two rounds of Atlantic Motocross competition, Marcus Dureen sits atop the Pro GP standings following a strong start to the season and an impressive overall victory at Mill Hill MX.

But the championship is far from decided.

Clyde River’s own Cohen Nickerson has continued to build momentum in his rookie Pro season, backing up a podium finish at Round 1 with another strong performance at Mill Hill to hold second in the standings heading into River Glade.

Behind them, Tj Martin remains firmly in the hunt after securing another podium finish at Round 2, while riders like JordanJ Melanson, Seth Jollimore, Ashton Vickers, and Logan Gallant continue to chase valuable championship points as the season progresses.

And that's the thing about Pro GP.

Nothing comes easy.

Every gate drop matters.

Every position counts.

Every point earned can become the difference between a championship and a missed opportunity when the season reaches its final rounds.

With River Glade MX next on the schedule, the pressure continues to build and the battle for the top spot is only getting started.

After two rounds of Atlantic Motocross Racing Association competition, the 50cc Open 4–8 championship battle is beginning to take shape as the series heads toward Riverglade Motocross for Round 3.

Through the opening rounds at Clyde River MX and Mill Hill MX, Austin Fader has been nearly flawless. Two rounds. Two overall victories. A perfect 100 points to start the season.

But the riders behind him aren't making it easy.

Cainen Bagley continues to hold strong in second after another impressive weekend at Mill Hill, while Emerson MacRae, Axel Ritzhaupt, and Mitch Marks remain within striking distance as the championship chase continues.

And that's what makes this class so exciting.

Every gate drop matters.

Every lap builds confidence.

Every weekend gives these young riders another chance to move up the standings and gain valuable championship points.

Round 2 of the Atlantic Motocross Racing Association series at kept the 2026 season moving fast, with the CRMX team back on the line and fully into race rhythm. 👊

From early pit preparation to gate drop, every detail matters when the season starts building across the Atlantic circuit.

This weekend, Dirt-Care Moto was part of the support system behind the scenes — helping keep bikes race-ready through long motos, changing conditions, and the demands of race day at this level.

Alongside that support, CRMX riders continued to represent the program on track — with Cohen Nickerson building momentum in the Pro GP class and Charlie Nickerson continuing his strong form in the 85cc 12–16 class as the season develops.

Every lap they race is backed by preparation, consistency, and the people who help keep them ready when the gate drops.

Now all focus shifts forward.

For riders like Camden Chetwynd, motocross is more than just race day results.

It’s the long hours at the track during the week.
The effort nobody sees behind the scenes.
The drive to keep improving every time the gate drops.

The 14-year-old rider from Shelburne, Nova Scotia has been putting in the work — riding multiple times a week and continuing to push himself mentally and physically as he competes in the 85cc 12–16 and Supermini classes.

One of Camden’s proudest moments came at Clyde River, where he earned a 1st place finish in 85cc 12–16 at Round 1, another 1st in Supermini, and a strong 2nd place finish in 85cc 12–16 during Round 4 last season.

But for Camden, it’s not only about trophies.

“I’m most proud of working really hard to do as best as I can going to the track 1–3 times a week.”

Like many riders in our community, what keeps him coming back is the feeling that only motocross can give:

“The adrenaline I get from lining up on the gate with my friends, and aiming to beat them.”

Now already into the 2026 season, Camden continues building experience and momentum every weekend:
👊 5th place — Schoolboy 12–17 at Clyde River Round 1
👊 Currently sitting 5th overall in Schoolboy 12–17 series standings

And when it comes to Clyde River MX, Camden knows exactly what the track means to him:

“Clyde River is one of my best tracks considering it’s my home track and I put a lot of time and effort to get better there and place as good as I can.”

For some riders, the answer was over 3 hours.

Earlier this season, riders from all across the Maritimes made the trip to Clyde River MX for The Moto Academy — all chasing the same thing:
more speed, more confidence, and more time on the bike.

From 7-year-olds learning new skills to veteran riders pushing themselves on the sand, the track was full of people willing to put in the work to improve.

That’s what motocross is really about.

The passion to keep showing up.
The willingness to learn.
And the community that keeps growing every season.
