The Hayloft Dancehall is a historic barn in a scenic spot, on the shores of Lake Ontario.The Hayloft has been a rite of passage for local residents- carrying with them great stories and fun memories spanning over decades! The bar has been open for 47 years hosting weddings, dance parties and bands. The new Hayloft Dancehall is a live music venue bringing the success of The Dakota Tavern to beautiful Prince Edward County!

Fun fact about the Hayloft - when we wrap at the end of each season we strip our barn baby back to the bones! ☠️ Everything gets disconnected or uninstalled to protect it from the winter weather/pests, including our sound system, which gets fully taken to pieces. So when spring rolls around it takes a team of cute boys to put it all back together again. It involves a lot of Brian, Gavin, Ben & Will climbing up ladders, and me reporting myself to HR (also me) for inadvertently looking at their 🍑’s.

✨ANNOUNCEMENT 📣 We’re absolutely stoked to announce that will be hitting The Hayloft stage on Friday, Aug 7th, with an extra special show!
In order to observe the 35th anniversary of their infamous debut SHAKESPEARE MY BUTT... the band will be performing the album in its entirety at select venues in Ontario over the course of 2026.

LOTL’s 1991 landmark debut album, Shakespeare My Butt, with spots in the top 10 of the Top 100 Canadian Albums of All Time. The debut became the best-selling independent release in Canadian history at the time. In 2008, Lowest of the Low was inducted into the Canadian Indie Rock Hall of Fame and earned Gold certification for Shakespeare My Butt.

Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10am 🎫
