Last week, I had the honour of presenting the Ben DeVito Memorial Award, and this year’s recipient was Carter Graham.
This presentation filled my heart with even greater pride and joy because Carter is someone Ben and I had the privilege of watching grow up into the fine young man he is today. Seeing him receive this award made the moment even more special. Having our daughters, Jessica and Faith, by my side to present the award made the occasion even more meaningful. I know Ben would have been incredibly proud of Carter and all that he has accomplished.
I also want to extend my sincere gratitude to everyone who has supported the Ben DeVito Memorial Golf Tournament over the years. Because of your generosity, we have now been able to award bursaries to five students pursuing careers in the skilled trades.
I truly can’t think of a better way to honour and remember Ben than by helping young people build bright futures. Thank you for keeping his memory alive and making a lasting difference in the lives of these deserving students. ❤️
