Oct 4th, 2026 on Queen Street in downtown Charlottetown Farmers, producers, restaurants, crafters, and artisan come together in celebrating the Island's Buy Local culture and the intertwining of its urban and the rural communities. Historic downtown Charlottetown is transformed into an expansive open air market featuring music, children's entertainment, agricultural displays, a beer garden, a petting zoo and some good ol’ fashioned friendly competition. Featuring +160 vendors - Farm Day is a project of Discover Charlottetown and is made possible with the loving support of the presenting partner PEI Potato Growers.

🌻 TOMORROW 🌻

Are you ready, PEI? Farm Day in the City presented by Prince Edward Island Potatoes is finally upon us! Happening on Queen Street this Sunday, Oct 5 from 10am-4pm, we are SO ready to mix & mingle with all you lovely people.

Beyond the diverse mix of vendors and exhibitors (over 150!), there are also a number of programming elements you do not want to miss:

🎶 The Dairy Farmers of PEI proudly present the Queen Street main stage that spotlights local musical talent all day. With emcee Hugh McLarty from Hot 105.5!

🤹‍♀️The Cavendish Farms Kids’ Zone will have its own live stage with music and dance, face painting, a colouring station, a family photo booth, a mechanical bull ride, a roaming magician on the patios, and more - all on Victoria Row.

🍻 Sydney Street hosts the Farm Day B**r Garden all day with tasty bites and drinks from your favourite nearby restos. They’re staying open two hours past the market, with live tunes from Vintage 4.0, 3:30-6pm. Sunday Funday, anyone?!

🐑 Other fun attractions such as the petting zoo, agricultural showcases, pop-up dance performances, roaming stilters, and more can be found throughout the festival site, too!

Don’t forget your shopping bag, and remember this is a FREE rain or shine event. See you there! 🫶
