The Agriculture Awareness Committee is proud to once again be a part of such an important event here on the Island. Open Farm Day creates the opportunity to promote Island farms, products and producers. The Agriculture Awareness Committee in association with all of our sponsors are thrilled to celebrate the 22nd anniversary for Open Farm Day in the Atlantic provinces. I

t is our belief that the collection of farms across the Island this year, represent the diversity of products, producers and services supplied by our generous hosts. We need to thank all of our sponsors for supporting such a grand event, as their contributions do not go unnoticed during this great day. Most importantly, we must thank the farms and farmers that open their doors to the general public. Without them, this event would not be possible and we need to recognize their hard work and dedication to top quality products and services. As we celebrate the 25th anniversary of PEI Open Farm Day, we want to send a huge thank you to all the amazing farms who opened their gates and welcomed Islanders and visitors to experience life on the farm.

Your time, effort, and hospitality help create memories, spark learning, and build connections between our communities and agriculture. Open Farm Day wouldn’t be possible without your generosity and dedication.

Today we celebrate the heart of Open Farm Day — our amazing PEI farm families who open their gates and welcome Islanders and visitors alike to experience life on the farm. 🐄🍎🐑🌱

From potato fields and dairy barns, to orchards, vineyards, and greenhouses, each farm shares a unique story about the food, care, and innovation that keeps our Island strong.
