We wish to thank Kristina Jacques for all of her tremendous volunteer work with the festival planning committee over the past 4 years. She is a busy working mom and is redirecting her energy to her kids and other pursuits for the time being. We will miss you, Kristina, but we know where you live and we'll be knocking when we need a hand. Thanks for all your time, energy and enthusiasm!!

From a "baby festival" to the grand-daddy of Carstairs events, the Carstairs Heritage Festival wishes to thank the Ag Society, all of the volunteers, and the Town of Carstairs for a tremendous Beef and Barley Days! Love this town!!

Hope to see everyone out for some 'authentic small town' fun tomorrow at the festival.
Parade starts at 11:00am at the curling rink. Check out the map for the route. There will be pipers, dignitaries, dancers, mascot, clowns and CANDY!
You might even hear some festival volunteers cruising around your neighbourhood in a very unique vehicle, encouraging everyone to get out of their p.j.'s and over to where the action is.

Mini-Donuts...mmm. We are so lucky to have The Mini Donut Factory coming to this year's festival! They offer many treats like milkshakes, jumbo hotdogs and cotton candy.

Owners Jim and Sarah are Carstairs residents and are excited to participate in this community event next Saturday, June 4!
