VIBE Dance Event

VIBE Dance Event VIBE is a dance event offering classes in tap, hip hop, jazz and contemporary. Instructors are highly decorated and internationally trained.

What a DAY 🙌

Sold out classes and amazing talent all around! We are so thankful for all our VIBE dancers and faculty for making yesterday a HUGE success. We hope all the dancers had a blast and learned some new tips, tricks, and movements. See you next year!

⭐️Meet our instructors!⭐️

Anika began her dance career at a young age and danced competitively with Shelley’s Dance Company for many years. She actively participated in both dance and figure skating competitions, taking as many classes as she could to increase her training. Anika participated in Alberta Ballet’s The Nutcracker Christmas performances from 2010 -2014, working with company dancers and other dancers from the Edmonton area. She has had the opportunity to compete at Dance Power in Las Vegas and has performed in Disneyland as a Disney Parade dancer.
Anika is a highly decorated dancer, competing on Team Canada in the World Dance Championships in both Germany (2016) and Poland (2017). She has won over 250 competitive medals and 50 different schaolarships during her competitive dance career.
Anika has student taught many different classes at Shelley’s Dance Company including acro dance and continues to work with young dancers today. She aspires share her love of dance with our VIBE dancers and is continually training to increase her skill set.

Delaney started dancing at the age of 2 at Zinger School of Dancing, and is lucky enough to still be part of the same studio today — this time as a teacher! Dance has always been an outlet and a way of telling stories. She’s trained in tap, jazz, hip hop, lyrical, and ballet, and loves being able to share what she’s learned with her students. For Delaney, dance is all about connection — expressing yourself, growing in confidence, and finding joy in every movement.

⭐️Meet our instructors!⭐️

Jocelyn Olsen is a highly decorated and award winning choreographer and dancer from Camrose, AB. She has studied internationally in Los Angeles, and New York City and hold credentials in Al Gilbert tap, Edmonton School of Ballet Juniors Examinations, and the Cecchetti Society of Canada. Jocelyn has trained under some of the biggest names in the business including choreographers such as Diana Blackburn, Robert Taylor Jr., John Rua, Stixx, and Justine Menter Fink. She has trained in jazz, ballet, tap, hip hop, lyrical, modern and contemporary throughout her 25 years of technical training.

Jocelyn can’t wait to see another year of amazing dancers at VIBE!
